'A Lesson Before Dying' debuts at Houston Family Arts Center
The Houston Family Arts Center’s production of Ernest J. Gaines' “A Lesson Before Dying” will open on Friday, Jan. 20.
Romulus Linney's stage adaptation of Gaines' novel deals with an innocent young man condemned to death in backwoods Louisiana in 1948.
Tickets are $12 to $16, and the play will run until Feb. 5.
