Deadline approaches for Cat Lift Truck Scholarship

The deadline for high school seniors to apply for the $5,000 Cat Lift Truck Scholarship is Friday, Jan. 20.

The scholarship is intended for students interested in pursuing a degree in engineering or business at a school in Texas. All applicants are judged on their academic achievements, leadership, community involvement and two narrative essays.

The scholarship will be awarded at the upcoming Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo.

Applications need to be postmarked by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20 to be considered.
