CFISD names new principal for Cypress Ranch High School

Cypress Ranch High School named Bob Hull, the principal at Truitt Middle School, as its new principal on Dec. 20.

Hull, who started the position on Jan. 3, replaced Darlene Medford, who announced her retirement last month.

A 19-year educator with CFISD, Hull has 34 years of experience in education. He was named principal at Truitt in 2004, was the associate principal at Cy-Fair High School, an assistant principal at Cypress Falls High, taught at Cypress Falls High School and Memorial High School and was a campus athletic coordinator at Albright Middle School.

"It is truly an honor and a privilege to be named as the principal at Cypress Ranch High School,” said Hull in a press release. “I look forward to building trust and developing lasting relationships with the students, staff and community. It will be my goal to take the solid foundation established in the academic, co-curricular and extracurricular programs to heights never seen before in CFISD."

Hull holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial arts education from the State University of New York, a post-baccalaureate certificate in physical education from the University of Houston, a Master of Education in administration from Prairie View A&M University and superintendent certification from Stephen F. Austin State University.
