Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and the Houston Rockets host Dribble-A-Thon
The Houston Rockets and the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District will hold a children’s Dribble-A-Thon to benefit school libraries on Feb. 18. at the Berry Center.
Kids of all ages can participate in events such as the cha-cha slide, pop-a-shot, passing stations, dribbling courses and the opportunity to meet Rockets mascot Clutch.
Participants will be given a pledge form and are encouraged to find sponsors from friends, neighbors, teachers and relatives to raise at least $50 for CFISD libraries.
The cost to attend is $25 and includes a basketball, T-shirt, certificate and a ticket to one of the following three Rockets games:
Feb. 17, 7 p.m. vs. the Minnesotta Timber Wolves;
Feb. 19, 6 p.m. vs. the Utah Jazz;
March 14, 6 p.m. vs. the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Berry Center is located at 8877 Barker Cypress Road in Cypress.
