Police seek local payday loan business robbery suspect
Police are searching for the man suspected of robbing a Cy-Fair payday loan business.
The suspect entered the business, located in the 2300 block of Fry Road, at 12:50 p.m. Jan. 11, pulled out a pistol and demanded cash, according to police.
The store clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money, but the suspect forced the victim into a back office and demanded more money, He fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to a Houston Crime Stoppers press release.
The man is described as black, between 18 and 25 years old, wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, a white-striped shirt, and white shoes during the incident.
