Waste Management partners to place recycling machines
A new recycling machine located near Houston Baptist University is part of the "Dream Machine" recycling initiative created by PepsiCo, with Waste Management and Keep America Beautiful.
The project is bringing thousands of recycling kiosks and bins at public locations throughout North America. The kiosks are computerized and offer a reward system that allows users to earn points for each bottle or can they recycle. Points can be redeemed for discounts.
The initiative was introduced on Earth Day in 2010.
