Lone Star College's Bosque Gallery displays 'Lost Seas' exhibition

Janet Hassinger's "Lost Seas" painting exhibition is on display until March 1 at Lone Star College's Bosque Gallery, 9191 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress.

Based in Galveston, Hassinger has taught, exhibited and curated in Texas for 25 years.

The exhibition focuses on abstract interpretations of the coral reef in the Caribbean Sea.

There will be an opening reception from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the lobby of the Center for the Arts.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
