Cypress Creek High School magazine earns 'superior' rating

Cypress Creek High School's literary magazine, Graffiti, has earned a Superior rating from the 2011 National Council of Teachers of English's Program to Recognize Excellence in Student Literary Magazines.

The magazine has earned placement in the last 10 NCTE awards.

Graffiti includes art, poetry and prose from students in all grade levels and teachers. The student editor is Tammy Pham.

"The 2011 Graffiti staff worked so hard to create a magazine that showcased the talented writers, photographers and artists of Cypress Creek High School," said faculty advisor Leslie Laird in a press release. "It is wonderful to see their efforts rewarded."
