Four-vehicle collision leaves one dead, another injured
A fatal traffic accident on Wednesday, Feb. 1 left a 44-year-old man dead at the scene.
According to the police report, at about 3:10 p.m. in the 10300 block of the Northwest Freeway, the driver of a blue Ford Taurus was traveling eastbound, moving at a "high rate of speed." The driver attempted to change lanes and lost control, striking a pickup, which resulted in a four-vehicle collision.
One other victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
