Free business seminars set at LSC-CyFair
A series of free business success seminars will be offered this February and March at LSC-CyFair.
The series will be held 7:45-8:45 a.m. on Tuesdays.
Terry Craig of MYMResults will present "Hidden Power of the Elevator Pitch" on Feb. 21. This workshop aims to help attendees develop a short narrative to win new clients and customers.
Siva Yenneti of ITVibes will present "Get Yourself on the Map" Feb. 28. This program will offer tips on finding customers with Google searches, geotagging, and local directories.
Darlene Hajduk of Proline Supply will offer tips on how to sell to different generations, "from the Millennials to the Baby Boomers and everything in between." This workshop will take place March 6.
Melissa Rotholz, LSC-CyFair's director of instructional and organizational development, will present "Facebook Essentials for Business" March 20. This program will take place in the computer lab.
Melissa Lombard of Red Bird Business Results will facilitate "Breakthrough Goal-Setting Strategies: Everybody Dreams" March 27. She will share ideas on how to develop a successful business plan.
Deborah Hroch of the University of Houston Small Business Development Center will offer "Quickbooks for Small Business" on April 3.
These free seminars will take place at the Barker Cypress campus, 9191 Barker Cypress Road.
