HS boys basketball: Langham Creek defeats Cy Lakes
Langham Creek defeated Cy Lakes 71-67 in boys high school basketball action on Friday, in a District 17-5A match-up.
With the win, Langham Creek ups its record to 25-8 overall and 11-1 in district play.
Danny Newsome scored a game-high 16 points in the victory.
Langham Creek will next host Cy Springs on Tuesday at noon.
With the loss, Cy Lakes drops to 18-13 overall and 6-6 in district play.
Markus Polk netted 15 points in the loss.
Cy Lakes will next visit Cy Woods on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
