Suspect sought in fatal shootings

Houston police are seeking the public's help in finding the suspect from a Feb. 10 double-murder.

Diego Martinez has been charged with murder in the 262nd State District Court and remains at large. He is a Hispanic male, 42 years old.

The shooting happened around 7 a.m. at 7307 Yellow Pine. Police say both victims were lying in the driveway. The suspect’s wife, Martha Nava De Martinez, 40, was shot and pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, Omar Salazar, 31, was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Martinez was last seen driving a black Ford F-150 pickup truck with Texas license plates AX67304. He is believed to be armed with a pistol.
