Bishop to consecrate Cornerstone United Methodist Church

A leading Methodist bishop will consecrate the new West Road Campus of the Cornerstone United Methodist Church on Sunday, Feb. 19.

The consecration will begin with a worship service at the West Road Campus, 18081 West Road at Barker-Cypress in Houston.

Bishop Janice Huie, the bishop of the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, will help lead the ceremony.

The West Road Campus was opened in October of 2010.

The facility features a worship center and an education wing.

After the ceremony, the church will hold a meet and greet with Bishop Huie in the education wing.
