Lone Star College-CyFair presents 'Biloxi Blues'

Lone Star College-CyFair will present "Biloxi Blues" from Feb. 23 to March 4.

This is the second installment of the Neil Simon trilogy, following last year's presentation of "Brighton Beach." Next year, the school will present "Broadway Bound."

"Biloxi Blues" follows Eugene Jerome, Simon's alter ego, through basic training in Biloxi, Miss., during WWII. The play is a comedy for mature audiences because of its adult language and themes.

Drama professor Ron Jones directs.

Performances include a 7:30 p.m. preview on Feb. 23, as well as Friday and Saturday shows at 8 p.m. on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 and March 2 and 3, and a Sunday show at 3 p.m. on March 4.

Tickets for the preview show are $5 each. General admission is $15 per person, or $12 for seniors.

All performances will be held at the Main Stage Theatre in the Center for the Arts Building, located at 9191 Barker Cypress.
