The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Feb. 5 through Feb. 8:

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of trespassing on property or in a building (no departure) and failure to attend school, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 19-year-old black female lives in FM 529 Road in Houston.

A Houston man is facing a felony charge of assault of a family or household member (impeding breath) after being arrested on Feb. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 21 years old, resides in Bending Pecan Court. He was booked on Feb. 7.

A man was arrested on charges of two counts of sexual assault of a child on Feb. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 35-year-old white male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 7 and is facing felony charges. He resides in River Knoll Lane.
