Cy-Fair defeated Memorial in the Katy ISD Tournament Thursday.
Cy-Fair, 1-0, won the game 8-0.
Jordan Rains hit a home run and a double in the victory.
Up next, Cy-Fair will visit Cy Ridge Friday.
Thursday’s loss dropped Memorial to 2-2 on the season.
Griffin Gilbert struck out four batters in taking the loss for Memorial.
Up next, Memorial will host Cy Woods Saturday.
