HS girls softball: Memorial defeats Cy Lakes
Memorial slugged its way to an 8-4 win over Cy Lakes in high school softball action on Thursday, at the Katy ISD Tournament.
With the win, Memorial improves to 2-2 on the season.
Memorial will continue in the tournament on Saturday, facing Cy Woods at 8:30 a.m.
The loss brings Cy Lakes to 0-2 on the season.
Pitcher Griffin Gilbert took the loss.
Cy Lakes will continue in the tournament on Saturday, facing Cinco Ranch at 1:45 p.m.
