Jersey Village students place in national TV network contest

Five Jersey Village High School students placed in the Student Television Network 2011 Fall Nationals.
No other high school placed as many students.
The awards recognized students who achieved excellence and special skills in the fields of film and television productions.
A.J. Gonzalez placed first in the public service announcement category for "Recycle." Sophomores Andrew Cordova and Trevor Hargis received honorable mention in the PSA category for "Get Animated."
Heath Farrell and Christian Torres also received an honorable mention award for a music video titled "Broken."
