Cy Woods students place in UT Computer Science Contest
Computer science teams from Cypress Woods High School, 16825 Spring Cypress Road, Cypress, placed in the top five at the UT Computer Science Contest, held on Feb. 11 in Austin.
Cypress Woods Team 1 placed first with 1,302 total points, while Cypress Woods Team 2 placed fourth with 1,034 points in a competition that pitted more than 59 teams from 30 different schools in Texas against one another.
Team 1 included junior Nikoli Cartagena, senior Henry Chen and sophomore Andrew Liu. Team 2 included juniors Jason Krezinski and Ben Lin and sophomore Thomas Lam.
