HS softball: Cy-Fair defeats Cy Lakes
Cy-Fair defeated Cy Lakes 7-3 in high school softball action on Tuesday, in a District 17-5A matchup.
With the win, Cy-Fair improves to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in district play.
Taylor Watkins led the offense with two RBI.
Starting pitcher Laura Driskill picked up the win.
Cy-Fair will next visit Cy Woods on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The loss brings Cy Lakes to 0-4 on the season and 0-1 in district play.
Lauren Fairman took the loss.
Cy Lakes will next host Cy Creek on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
