Employee sues over alleged Cy-Fair Shell Station injury
A repairer is suing over claims he sustained serious injuries while servicing a Cy-Fair Shell Station car wash.
Jimmie Barlow filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, Feb. 21 in the Harris County District Court against Kuifs Petroleum, citing negligence.
Barlow says on June 10, 2011, he sustained serious injuries when his employer, Auto Clean, sent him to the Shell Station, located at 21025 Highway 249 in Cy-Fair, to repair a car wash. While Barlow inspected the car wash, a grate pulled loose and caused him to fall into the drainage area, according to the brief.
The suit alleges Barlow’s injured shoulder required surgery.
Barlow is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Bellaire attorney Brian Jensen.
