HS baseball: Memorial defeats Cy Lakes
In a tight pitching duel, Memorial edged Cy Lakes 2-0 in high school baseball action Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Alief Varsity Tournament.
With the win, Memorial improves to 1-1 on the season.
Brad Toler struck out six on his way to the win.
Memorial will next visit Lutheran North at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24.
The loss brings Cy Lakes to 0-1 on the season.
Sean Ballas took the loss.
Cy Lakes will next host Strake Jesuit at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24.
