HS girls softball: Cy Woods defeats Cy Ranch
In a pitching duel, Cy Woods edged Cy Ranch 2-1 in girls high school softball action Tuesday, Feb. 28 in a District 17-5A match-up.
With the win, Cy Woods improves to 1-1 overall and 1-0 in district play.
Morgan Truitt picked up the win.
Cy Woods will next host Cy Springs at 2 p.m. Friday, March 2.
With the loss, Cy Ranch drops to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in district play.
Chayse Hobelman took the loss.
Cy Ranch will next visit Cy Creek at 6 p.m. Friday, March 2.
