Longwood Golf Club announces membership programs for 2012

Longwood Golf Club is announcing three membership programs: Loyalty, Senior, and Player’s Clubs. Membership will guarantee players access to discounts, special services and gifts.

“Longwood Golf Club is proud to announce our 2012 club programs,” Corey Hamlin, PGA member and General Manager and Director of Golf at Longwood Golf Club, said. “These programs are all set to furnish the most valuable service and best golf experience in the Houston area.”

Loyalty Club and Senior Club memberships receive the following benefits: a $5 discount on green or senior green fees; food and beverage benefits which may include breakfast, lunch, and/or two draft beers or fountain drinks by season; inclusion in the 2012 rewards program; a gift of FJ, Adidas, or Callaway golf shoes for every 10 rounds played; and a gift of Taylor Made or Callaway fairway wood, hybrid, putter, or wedge for every 20 rounds played.

For golfers seeking to improve their game, the Player’s Club provides opportunities for practice and instruction. Members will get tee time access in select morning and late afternoon tee times as specified monthly by the Club for a course access fee; unlimited range balls seven days a week, as weather and range availability permit; a pick of two draft beers or fountain drinks; month-to-month membership; and an optional family member add-on element.

All clubs provide free handicap service, free replays, and inclusion in special member events and other discounts. Members will receive the best prices on various merchandise and will have access to complimentary instruction at any of Longwood’s clinics.

The Loyalty, Senior, and Player’s Club come with payment of green fees for Tour 18, Bear Creek, and Southwyck. Benefits may vary with the season. Course access fees cost $17.95 per round, depending on the season. Loyalty and Senior Club memberships cost $10 per year while Player’s Club membership costs $39.95 per month.
