Church donation helps build Adam Elementary track
Cypress United Methodist Church donated $8,000 to Adam Elementary School to help complete construction of a new running track.
The donation covers the balance needed for the school to finish the track and came from the church's Christmas Eve offering, according to a press release.
"Our Adam students are benefiting from the generous contributions of Cypress United Methodist Church," said Principal Beth May as she accepted the donation. "Whether tutoring, making teacher treats, folder stuffing, donating school supplies, volunteering during our Holiday Shop or the contribution to our track, Cypress UMC is making a difference in students' lives."
