Cypress Ridge student selected as Future Business Leaders of America area president
Cypress Ridge High School junior Frank Jarquin has been elected the first-ever Future Business Leaders of America chapter president from his campus after winning an election that took place on Jan. 21. He will serve as FBLA Area V president during the 2012-2013 school year.
Jarquin recently kicked off his duties by bringing the 2012 FBLA Area Conference and Competition to a close after accepting the gavel from the former president.
“Frank exhibits every aspect of Ram Pride, and is a tremendous asset not only to our club but the entire Cypress Ridge High School campus community," said business teachers and FBLA co-sponsors Teri Bradshaw and Carolyn Harrell, in a press release. "We are extremely proud of him for representing FBLA in such a manner.”
His presidency will entail planning all area conferences and leading 1,000 Houston-area FBLA members at the local and state conferences.
