Langham Creek grad gives up five runs for Memphis
Lauren Carley, a graduate of Langham Creek High School, gave up five earned runs in 4.1 innings of work for the University of Memphis on Tuesday.
The Tigers fell to Samford 5-0 on the road. Carley struck out one batter.
At Langham Creek, she was a first-team All-District selection and team MVP her senior season.
The daughter of Les and Susan Carley graduated magna cum laude.
