Cypress hospital sued over alleged arm injury
A woman is suing over claims she sustained serious injuries while preparing for a medical test at a Cypress-area hospital.
Brenda Prewitt filed a lawsuit March 16 in the Harris County District Court against North Cypress Medical Center, citing negligence.
Prewitt says on March 12, 2010, she sustained permanent injuries to her right arm, while preparing to undergo a CT scan of her abdomen at North Cypress Medical. According to the brief, her arm was damaged before the scan by an automatic iodine dye injector.
Prewitt is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Linda Thomas.
