Cy-Fair resident sued over alleged dog attack
A woman is suing after, she says, a large Akita dog attacked her son in a Cy-Fair neighborhood.
Lymesia Jackson, on behalf of her 12-year-old son, filed a lawsuit on March 16 in the Harris County District Court against Steven Bully, citing negligence, gross negligence and negligence per se.
Jackson says on Jan. 17, Bully’s large Akita dog viciously attacked her son as he exited a school bus in the 10800 block of Great Bridge Drive in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, Bully should have properly restrained the dog, which was roaming freely throughout the neighborhood.
