LSC-CyFair pop orchestra holds debut concert

Lone Star College-CyFair's new pop orchestra is holding its debut at 7:30 p.m. April 10 in the Main Stage Theatre, in the Center for the Arts building.

Lone Star College-CyFair has a new pop orchestra, and its first concert, "MusicMattersMore," will debut at 7:30 p.m. April 10.

Vaughan Pederson, trumpet, and his wife, Alisa Pederson, violin, will be the guest soloists.

"MusicMattersMore" will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building at 9191 Barker Cypress Road in Cypress.

"You're never sure what will happen in our shows, but it should be a sweet time with lots of surprises," said Dr. John Wolfskill, music director, via a press release.

Cost is $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors. Group discounts are available.
