Meteorologist to speak at women's club meeting
The next meeting of Friends and Neighbors of 1960, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 10, will feature Tim Heller, chief meteorologist for KTRK Channel 13, speaking on weather patterns, the drought and the upcoming hurricane season.
The women's club meets monthly to promote new friendships and work within the community. Activities like bowling, hiking, bunco and overnight trips are regularly scheduled.
The meeting will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, located at 7810 Cypresswood Drive in Spring.
