Cy-Fair Lowe's blamed for foot injury
Lowe's is being sued over claims a falling piece of lumber at its Cy-Fair location injured a customer.
Christopher Shaun Alford filed a lawsuit on March 30 in Harris County District Court against Lowe's Companies, citing negligence.
Alford says on Sept. 4, 2011, he injured his foot while shopping at Lowe's, located at 19580 Tomball Parkway in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, he was standing in an aisle when a piece of lumber fell from a shelf and struck his foot.
Alford is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney James O. Blackwell, III.
