Sugar Land Wine and Food Affair brings wine and food events to the area

The Annual Sugar Land Wine & Food Affair, formally known as the Grand Wine & Food Affair, a five-day festival of wine and food tasting, is scheduled to take place from April 18-22 at various times and locations throughout Sugar Land.

The event will feature wine tastings, fine dining, live music and entertainment among other things.

The list of days, events and locations are as follows:

April 18: Buen Provecho! Dinner with the Cordúas in the Heart of Sugar Land Churrascos, located at 1520 Lake Point Parkway in Sugar Land, from  6:30-10 p.m. Reserved table for eight costs $1,000, table for six $750, individual tickets $125.

April 19: On the Rocks Bartenders Contest at BLU, located at 2248 Texas Drive in Sugar Land, from 6:30-9 p.m. Admission is $35.

April 20: Fred Parks Lecture Series presents Sommeliers Secrets: The Great Old World/New World Divide with Marnie Old MS at Marriott Sugar Land Town Square, located at 16090 City Walk in Sugar Land, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Admission is $45.

April 20: Prestige Whisky Collection from the Highlands and Islands at Marriott Sugar Land Town Square from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Admission is $65.

April 20: The Grand Tasting at Sugar Land Marriott Town Square from 7-9:30 p.m. Admission is $125.

April 21: Sip & Stroll at Imperial Sugar Land, located at 198 Kempner St. in Sugar Land from 1-4 p.m. Admission is $60.

April 22: Bistro Brunch at Town Square at Sugar Land Town Square from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $50.
