State champion Bailadoras performed at Pearl Harbor
The Langham Creek Bailadoras dance team performed March 10 on the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
The Langham Creek Bailadoras performed March 10 on the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
The state champion team performed a combination of dances set to patriotic music on the battleship. The team was also allowed to tour the USS Arizona Memorial.
The Bailadoras won a state title at the Crowd Pleasers Senior Texas Showcase of Champions held at Cy Falls High School on March 3. The team also received the Best in Class award for all five of its team dances and also won special awards for Technical Merit, Outstanding Technique and Outstanding Choreography on the team dances at the Cy Falls contest.
The team will perform at 7 p.m. April 27 and 28 at the annual Bailadoras spring show, "Glitz, Glam and A Touch of Class." For information about tickets and cost, email vincik@sbcglobal.net.
