Gas prices in and around Cypress this week were lower compared to the averages for Houston and the country as a whole, according to data from Gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the Gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 33 gas stations in and around Cypress. As of April 7, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Cypress is $3.864 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.826, Houston average at $3.870, and the nationwide average at $3.910.

The average gas price in Cypress last week was $3.849 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in Cypress is reported to be $3.79 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which Gasbuddy.com contributors logged as being available at Randalls, 12220 Barker Cypress Road and Northwest Freeway.; Exxon, 12360 Grant Road and North Eldridge Parkway; Murphy USA, 26272 Northwest Freeway and Cypress Rosehill Road; Kroger, 18030 FM-529 near Barker Cypress Road; Kroger, 17455 Spring Cypress Road and U.S. 290; Express Food Mart, 12630 Telge Road and Cricket Hollow Lane; Kroger, 13135 Louetta Road and Grant Road; Exxon, 18001 FM-529 and Barker-Cypress; and H-E-B, 24218 N.W. Freeway and Barker Cypress Road.

Gasbuddy.com users reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.99, which was being sold at Exxon, 25950 N.W. Freeway and Spring Cypress Road, and Shell, 15038 Mason Road and Fairfield Village Drive.
