Hospital hosts Living Well Expo
HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Cypress will host the Living Well in Cy-Fair Expo designed to assist residents of all ages, at-risk adults, persons with disabilities and their caregivers in living safe, healthy and independent lives from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 27.
The expo will include a variety of free health screenings, information and resources from a number of wellness exhibitors. The free screenings available include fall-risk screening by HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Cypress, fasting cholesterol and blood sugar by North Cypress Medical Center, bone density by Cy-Fair Medical Center Hospital, peripheral arterial disease screening by St. Luke's Hospital at The Vintage, pulmonary function screening by Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest, risk assessment for strokes by Methodist Hospital at Willowbrook, blood pressure screening by Grace Care Center of Cypress, pulse oximetry by Pros Home Health Care, vision screening by Dr. Romea Mitchell, hearing screening by Dr. Ninh Nguyen and skin cancer screening by Dr. Alpesh Desai.
