Cy-Fair developer sued over La Quinta Inn

A hospitality company is suing over claims a Cy-Fair developer and others failed to pay for its services as contracted.

Supreme Hospitality Supply filed a lawsuit on Thursday, April 12 in the Harris County District Court against Brit Estates, Cy-Fair resident Manpreet Singh and others, citing fraudulent misrepresentation and conversion.

Supreme Hospitality says the defendants, developers of a Texas La Quinta Inn & Suites, failed to pay vendors and contractors involved in the construction of their hotel. According to the brief, the defendants are wealthy, and the hotel is generating income, so there is no legitimate reason for nonpayment.

The plaintiff is seeking attorney's fees, court costs and damages. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Kelly G. Prather.
