HS baseball: Cy Woods defeats Cy Springs
The bats came alive for Cy Woods, as it overpowered Cy Springs 14-0 in high school baseball action Saturday, in a District 17-5A matchup.
With the win, Cy Woods improves to 11-4 overall and 8-2 in district play.
Mark Hammel struck out eight on his way to the win.
Cy Woods will next host Cy Ridge on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
With the loss, Cy Springs drops to 0-20 overall and 0-14 in district play.
Enrique Angeles took the loss.
