Cy-Fair resident sues over alleged fall

A woman is suing over claims she suffered serious injuries when she fell down the stairs at a Cy-Fair apartment complex.

Cy-Fair resident Tammy Pera filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, April 10 in the Harris County District Court against San Cierra, Sueba U.S.A., Southhampton Management and Summit Steel Fabricators, citing negligence.

Pera says on July 4, 2010, she sustained serious injuries at the defendants' apartment complex, located in the 15500 block of Cutten Road in Cy-Fair. According to the brief, she tripped and fell on an uneven step as she left her apartment to go to work at 5:30 a.m.

Pera is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Stewart J. Guss.
