THSCA recognizes six Jersey Village athletes

Six Jersey Village High School seniors were named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State teams in their respective sports.

Charles Fly was named to the Elite Team THSCA Academic All-State Boys Soccer roster. Matthew Richardson was named First Team of the Academic All-State Boys’ Basketball team. Erica Lewandowski was named to First Team of the Academic All-State Girls’ Swimming and Diving squad, while Emily Anderson was named to second team. Lars Coleman and Matthew Shadle were named to Second Team of the Academic All-State Boys’ Swimming and Diving team.

To be considered, the student athlete must be a senior, have an overall grade-point average of 92 or above, been a member of the team in good standing at the time of the nomination and be of good moral character.
