Students create blankets for women’s shelter

Students from Goodson Middle School utilized a $500 grant from the Meadows Foundation Charitable Schools Program to create 31 blankets and donate them to the Houston Area Women’s Center.

Goodson’s student council spearheaded The Warm a Heart Project, in which many student volunteers used 120 yards of fleece to create the blankets after school March 23.
