LSC-CyFair students win in talent show

Three Lone Star College-CyFair students won the top awards at the Lone Star College-CyFair Masquerade Eighth Annual Talent Show this April.

Dancer Gabriel Luna II placed first, beat boxer Matt Gutierrez took second place, and singer Tomachia Jones placed third.

Luna and Gutierrez represented the LSC-Barker Cypress campus, and Jones represented the LSC-Fairbanks Center.

More than 360 audience members attended the talent show.

The event was produced by LSC-CyFair's Student Programming Board.

Contest judges included Tim Sebesta, LSC-CyFair's tennis coach; Christine Timmerman, director of outreach and retention; Sony Simon, Student Government Association adviser; Matthew Taylor, LSC-CyFair speech communications teacher; Tashemia Jones of Orion Real Estate; and Amanda Rose, Student Life coordinator at San Jacinto College-Central Campus.
