T. Carolyn's helps producers search for 'Mother of the Bride'

T. Carolyn Fashions in Houston will be the setting for a new wedding reality television show called “Mother of the Bride.”

The show focuses on soon-to-be mothers of brides and grooms to document their search for a dress to wear at the wedding. T. Carolyn's will play a major role in helping the women find the perfect dress because it is the only dress boutique in the world that exclusively caters to mothers of the bride or groom.

T. Carolyn Fashions has been providing dresses for future mothers since 1991 when the store was opened by mother and daughter Barbara Tibbetts and Terrie Tibbetts Martin. In the press release Terrie said of her job, “We have to be part fashion experts, part therapists and sometimes part SWAT negotiators.”
