American Textile Recycling Services hosts Earth Week event
A "Drop and Drive" recycling drive hosted by American Textile Recycling Services and Granite Properties was be held on April 18 at Granite Westchase Tower One and Two.
Items accepted for recycling were clothing, shoes, toys, books and household items. ATRS representatives were there to provide information about recycling programs in the community.
"We're excited to partner with Granite Properties for Earth Week," explained David Peganyee, a longtime Houston entrepreneur and CEO for ATRS, in a press release. "Everyone can make a difference one donation at a time. We make it easy and convenient for communities to come together and recycle in Houston for a greener tomorrow."
"We want to do the right thing, and doing the right thing for the environment is a natural extension from the way we treat people to the way we treat our assets, our communities and our planet," said David R. Cunningham, director of development and construction for Granite Properties.
