Mezzanotte Ristorante Enoteca makes Alberto Baffoni new executive chef

Mezzanotte Ristorante Enoteca owners Adrianna and Gerry Sarmiento have named Alberto Baffoni as their restaurant's new executive chef.

Baffoni has been active in the Houston restaurant business for several years. He opened Simposio, his first Italian restaurant in the area, more than 15 years ago. Baffoni has also been friends with Gerry Sarmiento for many years.

"I am excited to be able to finally work with him and Adriana," said Baffoni, according to a press release. "Gerry and I have been busy in the kitchen creating a new menu for Mezzanotte that will retain many of its signature dishes and add a few of my personal favorites."

Mezzanotte Ristorante Enoteca is located at 13215 Grant Road, Suite 1200, Cypress.
