Marine navigation supplier trades 4BD in Cypress

Garland and Wilma Kirkpatrick acquired a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 11902 Amyford Bend in Cypress from Allen W. Mitchener on Nov. 17.

Mitchener acquired the property from Mark and Lisa Sweeney in April 2004. The 1,931-square-foot home in the Longwood Village subdivision was built in 1997 and is valued at $176,380.

Mr. Mitchener is the president of Tideland Signal, a Houston-headquartered supplier of aids to marine navigation.

He holds a degree in telecommunications and electronics from The British Columbia Institute of Technology.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 2,095 home sales in Cypress during the past 12 months.
