Kenneth Bumbera and his wife, Cheri, acquired a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 6714 Windy River Lane in Katy from Aurora Loan Services, LLC and LPS Asset Management Solutions, Inc. on Jan. 26.

The 1,500-square-foot house was built in 2004 in the Highland Creek Ranch subdivision. It is valued at $84,325.

Mr. Bumbera, a race car driver, is the owner of Bumbera's Performance Associates, an auto repair business shop. He has competed in drag car racing, drag bike racing, monster truck racing and go-kart racing.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 4,002 home sales in Katy during the past 12 months.
