English professor nabs 4BD in Cypress
Laura K. Taggett and Matthew G. Turner acquired a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 13435 Tall Forest Drive in Cypress from Kathryn E .West and Michael R. Weston on Feb. 18.
The 2,528-square-foot house was built in 1977 in the Saracen Park subdivision. It is valued at $165,452.
Ms. Taggett is an associate English professor, as well as a co-coordinator of Reader's Theatre in the Lone Star College System. Prior to Lone Star, she was an assistant professor of English at Ellsworth Community College and an adjunct instructor at Buena Vista University in Iowa. She has also worked with Iowa State University, Des Moines Area Community College-Ankeny and Saginaw Valley State University.
She received her master's degree in English and general studies from Iowa State University and her bachelor's degree in English and general studies from Saginaw Valley State University. She also has an associate's degree in liberal arts from Delta College.
