Painting with a Twist celebrates second anniversary, announces new teachers
Local art studio Painting with a Twist celebrated its second anniversary in May by hiring four new instructors.
Andrea O’Dowd, owner of the studio, announced the addition of three local artists and a new studio manager.
The newest artist/instructors include Elizabeth Sapre of Cypress, originally from England. She is a graduate of Ely Sixth Form College and works at Leisure Learning, Inc. teaching art classes.
Kristina Bhai, of Cypress, is a graduate of Sam Houston State University. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and attends the Art Institute of Houston, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
Heather VanHandel, of Cypress, is a graduate of Excelsior College and earned her degree in economics, along with a degree in accounting from Lone Star College.
The new studio manager is Robyn Finney. Finney earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/psychology at Sam Houston State University and offers extensive experience as a former small business owner.
