Cy Woods to face Cy Falls Tuesday

The Cy Woods Wildcats could put a huge dent in the Cy Falls Golden Eagles' playoff hopes with a victory on Tuesday night.
Cy Woods, which is fighting Cy Creek for the District 15-5A title, is favored to repeat as conference basketball champions.
But Cy Falls entered last week 4-4 in league play, one game behind Langham Creek and Cy-Fair in the race for the final spots.
This game always takes on a special tone as Cy Falls is coached by legendary head coach Jim Draudt, and Cy Woods is led by Draudt's son, Chris Draudt.
ABOUT THE GAME
Matchup: Cy Woods vs Cy Falls
When: 7 p.m. Tuesday
Where: Cy Falls High School
At stake: A playoff spot for Cy Falls, which is battling Langham Creek, Cy-Fair, Cy Ridge and Cy Lakes for one of the final playoff spots. The Golden Eagles can't afford another loss if they are going to sneak into the second season.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Cy Falls: Chika Agwu (11 ppg); Harry Kang (10 ppg); Dominique Thomas (10 ppg).
Cy Woods: Andre Adams (13.2 points per game); Calvin Thomas (10.8 ppg); DeMarco Richardson (10.3 ppg); Carter Nash (10 ppg).
TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
Cy Falls: The Golden Eagles' Chika Agwu will be the catalyst for Cy Falls on Tuesday night. He makes the team tick. Harry Kang and Dominique Thomas also are capable scorers. Cy Falls must get it done inside the paint against DeMarco Richardson and Carter Nash if they hope to pull off a much-needed upset.
Cy Woods: The Wildcats still look to be the team to beat in district play, though they have showed to be vulnerable on nights where they get in foul trouble. Andre Adams is giving Mackey McKnight quite a run for Player of the Year honors in the district, but Carter Nash doesn't get enough credit for all the work he does on both ends of the floor.
